r Rica Viljoen’s model on Inclusivity, in her doctorate thesis, was acknowledged as one of the 10 most promising contribution to the field of Management, Spirituality and Religion by the Academy of Management in 2008. Since then, this approach to hear the voices the whole social system, was applied in 42 different countries with over 100 000 participants. Rica has been awarded the CEO award for her contribution to the field of study nationally and internationally by the Institute of Personal Management (IBP) for which she also acts as ambassador. She received 2 additional awards from the Academy of Management for her contribution. She is an adjunct faculty member of the Henley Business School in South Africa, associated with the Reading University.
Rica is also the founder and managing director of Mandala Consulting, an organisational development and research house. She works closely with dr Don Beck and Dr Loraine Laubscher; and the various Centres for Human Emergence to study geo-political trends and how it impacts people and the organisations they form. She is the founder member of the South African Centre of Human Emergence and is seen internationally as an expert and thought leader on spiral dynamics and integral research.
Dr Viljoen has published numerous academic chapters and books and expresses the passion of ensuring that untold stories finds its way into mainstream publications. She was also a senior research associate at the University of Johannesburg. She serves on the board of directors of the South African Board of People practices and is actively involved with the American Psychological Association’s activities. She is a sought after key note speaker at international conferences.
